On Tuesday 14 November Year 4 spent the day dressed as Tudors. The costumes were fantastic and really helped the children to get into the spirit of the day. In the morning they had lessons in a Tudor school which included classes in handwriting and Latin. They discovered that a Tudor school was very strict and the boys worked long hours, even taking classes in their free time!
In the afternoon the children curated their own Tudor museum using artefacts that they had made themselves. Year 4 explained their exhibits in great detail to the visiting classes. Also on display was the Tudor recipe book the children had created together and attempted different recipes from, there were even samples to try. The highlight of the day was opening up the museum so that parents could visit and look at all the children’s hard work. Well done Year 4!
