On Wednesday 14 March, Year 5’s ran an assembly on ‘Plastic Pollution in the Oceans’. Having researched the topic for holiday homework, they were outraged by the damage that is being done to the ocean environment. They thought it was important to let other children know and to share their ideas to reduce plastic pollution. Statistics, photos and storytelling were used as a means to get their message across. It was a very important lesson for us all.
