The children in Upper Kindergarten have been learning about Chinese New Year. In class they have made Chinese lanterns and with a small paint brush they used their fine motor skills to write ‘hello’ in Chinese. During assembly they all listened to Miss Aton talk about how Chinese New Year is celebrated through different traditions. Two of the children wore their own tradition Chinese clothing and spoke to the other children about how they celebrated with their families.
