This term Year 6 have enjoyed learning through the use of practical activities. In their lesson starter, the class were challenged to use their persuasive skills to debate if the sea is more powerful than the wind. There were excellent opinions and facts shared and the class did a wonderful job in persuading each other by using thoughtful, convincing vocabulary.
They also worked in teams in a sorting activity to match different poetic features to their description and example. They were challenged to listen to each other’s opinion and work as a team. Well done Year 6!
