2C have been exploring printing this term. Pupils used hands and fingers to start with (but not their faces as some children had suggested!) then the children went on a ‘treasure hunt’ around the room to find objects they wanted to print.
They came up with some interesting results and they discussed how different parts of the objects create different shapes when printed. The children discovered how less paint on the object actually produced a clearer image, which is the opposite to what they initially thought would happen.
