Flower Exploration Activity

We recently combined our Understanding of the World and our Communication and Language development. Within our Flower Exploration activity, the children looked at the parts of a flower in detail using a magnifying glass. They learnt new vocabulary such as soil, seeds, roots, stem, petals and leaves. We also discussed what a flower need to grow, the children said water and the sun.
