The children in Lower Kindergarten have been enjoying a variety of Easter activities. The Easter sensory tray was a very popular choice, allowing the children to explore different textures. The children also use their imaginations to create games with the toy chicks and bunnies and developed their counting skills by counting the big and small eggs.
Near the end of the week everyone decided to have an Egg and Spoon race in class. The children were very excited to see their teachers demonstrate first and cheered them on as they made their way around the classroom.
Finally, the children had their go by racing in groups of two and three. They found it very tricky to keep their egg on the spoon but showed determination to get to the finish line.
