It was great to see Reception Woodpeckers settling wonderfully back into school last week. The children made the most of the outdoor space. They had fun measuring one of the big oak trees on the school field by looking between there legs until they could see the top of the tree, counting their steps back to the base of the trunk, they also played hide and seek as part of their learning about positional language and looked at the wild flowers growing on the mound by the carpark.
