During Computing the children in Year 1 have been exploring coding. To start their coding experience the children had to use basic instructions to program a partner [robot] to move around the field. As they became more confident using instructions the children then had to follow an obstacle course using only the instructions they receive from their partner [coder]. The children thoroughly enjoyed being outside and working together to master the art of coding.
