Lower Kindergarten have been learning a variety of number rhymes, such as ‘5 Speckled Frogs’, ‘5 Little Monkeys’, and ‘5 Little Ducks’. These songs allow the children to recite numbers 1-5 and to see that a number changes when something is taken away.
To help reinforce the song, the children were able to create either a Frog, Monkey or Duck mask. They decorated their masks using a variety of materials and colouring pens. We then used our masks and sang the songs within the classroom.
