The children in Key Stages 1 and 2 have been reading a wide range of reading material as part of the Oaklands School Readathon. Pupils took pleasure in sharing books, visiting the library and developing their reading skills. The older pupils particularly enjoyed reading to small groups of younger children within class time as well as break time. We would like to thank everyone who participated in the Readathon and are delighted to announce that we raised £561.00 for Crisis, the national charity for the homeless.
