Exotic Explorers Visit Oaklands

Every child in the school had the opportunity to learn first-hand about the characteristics and life-cycles of different groups of animals. Children in Years 2-6 were visited by Exotic Explorers and had an incredible session learning about each animal group in detail, asking lots of thoughtful questions, and even having the chance to not only handle all of the animals, but also to have them roam freely about the room around them; feeding, socialising and investigating their surroundings. It was a fantastic, educational experience that all of the children (and staff!) couldn’t stop talking about!
